About the Role
Together, let’s open the doors to the future!
In collaboration with the members of the engineering team, you will be called upon to use your technical expertise to design, prototype and implement various electronic elements intended for controlling passenger train doors.

An overview of what your daily life would resemble :

Develop and fine-tune digital and analog circuits for the control and supervision of train doors.

Develop test benches for the validation of various systems and subsystems.
-
Design of circuit boards (PCBs)
-
Participate in design reviews.
-
Participate in research and development activities on innovative systems.
-
Ensure the validation of conformity and approval of prototype systems.
-
Provide technical support for production.
-
Act as a technical resource for our customers.
-
Write technical documentation related to your projects.
Requirements
In order to be successful in this role, you:
-
Bachelor's degree in electronic or electrical engineering with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience
-
Experience in developing digital and analog circuits. More specifically, motor control, microcontrollers and networking.

Basic knowledge of embedded systems programming: Control, data acquisition and networking.

Autonomy, technical judgment, clear communications, practicality, creativity and great attention to detail.

Knowledge of French and English.
-
The candidate must also be willing to travel occasionally to Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia (approximately 10%)
ASSETS:
-
Experience in the railway or aeronautical field
-
Good technical culture and versatility in other fields of engineering such as mechanics and physics.

Practical experience with design tools such as KiCad and SolidWorks
-
Knowledge of certification standards in electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC), shock, vibration and flammability
-
C, C++, Python programming.
-
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking
