About the Role

In collaboration with the administrative team and the project manager, you will be able to use your expertise to manage the entire process relative to the purchasing profession.
Here is an overview of your daily life :

Support the purchasing strategy (able to demonstrate the selection of a supplier)

Define and coordinate requests for quotes
-
Participate in the assessment of the capability and capacity of a supplier
-
Responsible for supplier key performance indicators
-
Meet your colleagues for a coffee break in our multifunctional cafeteria;
-
Ensure adequate supply for the completion of projects
-
Participate in meetings with Customers (external and internal) and be able to assess the impact on supplier contracts and the project schedule (if request for changes)

Participate in one (or more!) team activities

Collaborate in establishing the project budget

Collaborate in defining “key” processes to improve organizational performance
Requirements

Extensive knowledge of the local and international supply chain

Ability to develop business relationships with suppliers to facilitate negotiation

Acute sense for negotiation focused on the financial performance of the company

Ease with navigating technical drawings and the understanding of the material list (BOM)

Recognized for customer service and teamwork

Pro-active and empowered to manage risk

Bilingual with great communication skills

Being able to identify opportunities for business improvement
