About the Role

Together, let’s open the doors to the future!

In collaboration with the members of the engineering team, you will be called upon to use your technical expertise to design and implement systems for passenger train doors and to provide support and improve existing products.

An overview of what your daily life would ressemble :

  • Mechanical design linked to railway products

  • Creation of 2-D and 3-D technical drawings

  • Drafting of documentation related to projects

  • Meet your colleagues for a coffee break in our multifunctional cafeteria

  • Project follow-up

  • Technical research of mechanical and electrical components

  • Participate in the development of new products (R&D, continuous improvement)

  • Participate in one (or more!) team activities

  • SolidWorks vault management

  • Support production during the manufacturing launch of new products.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you:

  • Have your BAC in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience

  • Have a good knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD

  • Are autonomous but also able to work in team with technical judgment, practical sense, creativity and with a large attention to the details

  • Are known to be persuasive, a leader and motivator who adapts easily to changes

  • Are perfectly bilingual

  • The candidate must also be willing and able to freely travel occasionally to Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia (approximately 10-15%)
