About the Role
Together, let’s open the doors to the future!
In collaboration with the business unit manager and the purchasing team, you will be responsible for plans, schedules, coordinating and/or monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Providing timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor to ensure delivery dates.
Here is an overview of your daily life :

Review incoming sales orders to determine product requirements

Coordinating production workflow for all products.

Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.

Coordinate the delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule in collaboration with the procurement specialist

Execute a ‘push’ schedule strategy based on a yearly forecast and adjust as required

Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage

Utilize ERP system to set-up the routings of the work orders as well as for BOM, product and item level management to ensure the auto‐generation and release of work orders and purchase suggestions corresponding to the requirements and production capabilities.

Monitor consumption of materials while ensuring production output schedule
Requirements
A summary of skills required to be successful in this positon :
-
Education in supply chain management or related field or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing company

Production and Processing – Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Quality Control, SOP’s, etc.

In‐depth knowledge of ERP or MRP software, possessing expertise with BOM’s, item levels and product management (including updating and importing items)

Ability to read/understand mechanical and electrical drawings
-
Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate, read and interpret trends and statistics
-
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in at least one of the official languages
