About the Role

The production supervisor is responsible for assuring best practices and legal compliance in regards with employee management, best manufacturing practices as well as insuring timely completion of workload.

 

The production supervisor’s duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Manage and supervise day to day production work flow, labor and quality requirements,

  • Manage production work schedule and parts requirements in order to achieve timely completion and accurate delivery,

  • Oversee production processes and resolve issues,

  • Develop internal tools to improve production efficiency and quality such as go/no gauge, jigs, fixtures,

  • Train new employees and as per work instructions and quality requirements,

  • Support project managers and/or management with troubleshooting in regards with customer issues,

  • Write technical documentation related to production and customer request such as assembly procedure, test procedure, Return Good Analysis Report, Failure Analysis Report, etc,

  • Support Engineering analysis when required,

  • Carry out the period maintenance required on Fuji SEMEC Corp equipment,

  • Managerial responsibility to include staffing needs, communicating job expectations, enforcing systems, policies, and procedures, and disciplinary actions in conjunction with the HR up to and including terminations,

  • Responsible for OSHA compliance and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all, employees and visitors,

  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations
