About the Role

In collaboration with the members of the engineering team, you will be called upon to use your technical expertise to design and implement algorithms for the control of passenger train doors and to provide support and improvement existing products.
Tasks:

Microcontroller programming
-
Development of client interface applications (Windows environment)
-
Microcontroller circuit design
-
Design and implementation of test benches
-
Participation in research and development activities on new control systems
-
Validation of prototype systems
-
Technical support for production
-
Technical Customer Support for Fuji SEMEC Products
-
Technical documentation of projects
-
Writing of documents related to production and customers (test procedure ...)
-
Potential to be sent on service calls
-
Occasional training of our customers on Fuji SEMEC products
Requirements
-
Have a BAC in electronics or electrical engineering or equivalent experience in embedded systems development, microcontrollers, etc.

Have a good knowledge of low-level programming, C, C ++, data structures, algorithms, real-time control
-
Have knowledge of logic and analog circuits
-
Are autonomous but also able to work in team with technical judgment, practical sense, creativity and with a large attention to the details
-
Are known to be persuasive, a leader and motivator who adapts easily to changes
-
Have notions in digital servoing, notions in software engineering, relevant experience in the field of passenger transport.
-
The candidate must also be willing to travel occasionally to Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia (approximately 10-15%)
